Challenges
For Flensburger Brauerei to achieve its sustainability goals, the brewing process must be viewed holistically. It's not just about efficiency and product quality in the actual fermentation and brewing process, but also about the downstream steps. It is particularly important to reduce drinking water consumption, reduce wastewater volumes and use the resulting wastewater as an energy source and for the reuse of existing resources.
Realization
A tailor-made solution for optimizing the processes in the fermentation cellar was jointly developed to meet the challenges of the brewing process. At its heart is the QWX43 Fermentation Monitor, which enables continuous monitoring and control of fermentation.
Precise measurement technology for the targeted treatment and reuse of wastewater. Here, Memosens Wave CAS80E ensures that the wastewater volumes are fed to the correct process stages in future.
